Hazardous waste disposal is the regulated final step in any biohazard cleanup – properly bagging, transporting, and disposing of contaminated material according to OSHA and state biohazard laws. This isn't something that can go in a regular trash bin, and improper disposal can carry legal liability for the property owner as well as health risks for anyone who handles it afterward.
This service is a required part of nearly every trauma, crime scene, or biohazard cleanup job we do in Hazelwood, MO, since any material that comes into contact with blood or bodily fluids during the process needs to be disposed of through a licensed medical or biohazard waste channel, not standard waste services.
We bag all contaminated material in approved biohazard containers immediately upon removal, label everything according to regulatory requirements, and transport it through licensed disposal channels rather than regular waste haulers. This includes everything from removed flooring and drywall to PPE and cleaning materials used during the job itself. We maintain documentation of proper disposal, which can matter for insurance claims, property records, or regulatory compliance depending on your situation.
Cost is typically factored into the overall cleanup job based on the volume of contaminated material generated, rather than billed as a fully separate line item.
If you need documented, compliant hazardous waste disposal for a Hazelwood, MO property, call (833) 326-1718 and we'll make sure it's handled the right way.
